Gary Sisters Foundation Scholarship

The Gary Sisters Foundation was created by and named for 3 sisters, Edna, Vera and Lorena who had a long standing interest in education. Upon their passing the Trustees have used a portion of their assets to assist students at Kalamazoo Community in furthering their educational goals.

Due to the large number of request for scholarships the Trustees have decided to principally focus the granting of Gary Sisters Scholarships on students in the Health and Education fields. However, all Kalamazoo Community College students pursuing any fields of study may apply and their application will be reviewed and judged on its merits and the needs of the individual student.

If you are not selected to receive a scholarship it does not mean you were not qualified, it only means that the dollars available were too few and the number of requests too many.

Eligible applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Non-traditional students and student with special circumstances are encouraged to apply. Consideration will be given to need, but documented need is not necessarily required.
