Gil and Sylvia Golde Art Scholarship

Current Kalamazoo Valley students must be enrolled in the Certificate or Associates degree in Illustration or Animation programs. High School applicant must have intention of enrolling in the Kalamazoo Valley Illustration or Studio Arts Transfer AA program. All applicants must upload a digital portfolio consisting of 3-6 pieces of art. Digitally produced work must include hand drawn concept and development sketches and drawings. All applicants must submit a 750 word or less essay answering these questions; Describe what inspires you, i.e. Museum visits, a particular artist and/or genre of art, a family member, art books, your own work, etc, What are you educational goals? What are your employment goals? Applicants must not be Kalamazoo Promise eligible.
